OLD VIC MIDSUMMER PARTY
For The Old Vic Theatre.
Taking place over the entirety of The Brewery in central London and themed around a scorching hot midsummer evening unleashing the fairies, The Midsummer Party was a star-studded evening of food, entertainment and £750,000 of fundraising.
The masterminds behind the smash hit film, The Greatest Showman, Michael Gracey and Ashley Wallen, got the party started with a show-stopping opening number; the cast of SYLVIA made their eagerly anticipated return to the stage, previewing brand new material; and there was a sneak peek of the long awaited LOCAL HERO ahead of its London premiere at The Old Vic with music and songs by the legendary Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits). Live jazz underscored the evening thanks to Ronnie Scott’s All Stars, and the night went out on a high with soul legend Beverley Knight, getting the entire audience up on its feet
